Free Kids Cones

My kids LOVE ice cream. McDonald's gives out kids sized cones for free. You can keep a jar of sprinkles in your purse or in the car to make the cones a little more festive. Sprinkles make everything better!

This dessert is definitely Within the Budget.

Tree of Thanks

This simple craft will let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them with items your have around the house. Just take a tree branch and put it in a pot. You can use old newspaper balled up to hold it into place, then simply take different pieces of paper and write on them what your thankful for. Use a hole puncher to make a hole in the top of the paper and use a piece of twine to tie it as your "thankful leaf" onto the tree. Your family will feel your love while you keep it Within the Budget.

Pumpkin signs

Make guests feel welcome as they enter and see this pumpkin greeting. This is a easy way to take your leftover halloween pumpkins or your "free"pumpkins (see next blog entry) and give them a little bit more meaning.

Pumpkins

Now is the time to stop by your local pumpkin patch and pick up pumpkins for your Thanksgiving Decor. Orange pumpkins, white princess pumpkins and all different varieties make for a lovely fall display for thanksgiving. Place them on the front porch or on your mantle for a simple display of fall. Your local pumpkin patch wants them gone. I've filled my trunk for free and offered a small tip. They want them gone so consider it a win win situation.

Welcome!
